img is an interdisciplinary academic network that explores the interconnections between the different fields of images, imagery, and imagination.
Img is a bi-annual travelling conference that explores the image, imagery and imagination topics. It promotes interdisciplinary, international projection, and fosters network among the different partners and disciplines.
The main topic is the study of image, imagery and imagination, despite the project aims to adapt to single partners characteristics: each edition holds its own identity.
The journal will be published every six months, with issues in autumn and spring, and each issue will be developed on a monographic theme. One out of four will contain the extended versions of the papers with the highest evaluations of the scientific committee during the presentations of the IMG conference, while the other three will be edited by issue curators who will propose an autonomous and monographic theme.
